Today our group (Kate, Tate, and Me) worked on our Bad Boy media project. Tate is working on getting cool photos to put on our poster. Kate is writing reviews of what we think about the book. And I'm making a summary for the poster.

Khadeeja and I had to completely restart our project because we couldn't get the Flint Hill account to work on Museum box! It's going okay now though, we just have to do it on Powerpoint! Now I have a problem with this blog! Nothing's working!

Trouble with Glogster

When we started with Glogster it would not let us log in. It took us the whole class period to log in. Glogster would send us a email to confirm our account but it wouldn't confirm it. We made about six accounts until it finally worked. We had difficulties choosing a background. After a while we chose a background. I added a text box into our presentation so we could type. 

Glogster Troubles

We have had some troubled times trying to use this website.  The first time Logan, Avery and I tried to sign up it took us the whole class period.  It was a complete mess because we tried out 6 accounts and couldn't log in until the seventh.  Mrs. Salewski finally helped us log in at the very end of the class.  The second time we took the whole class period to find a background.  Which made Avery very upset. Logan on the other hand sat there while Avery and I were arguing. With the blankest expression ever on his face just staring at the wall in front of him.  We eventually stopped fighting and asked him what he thought.  He helped us with a little of the choosing of the backgrounds.  I'm having a bunch of fun!

Making Good Progress

Lillie and I are making good progress with our project. We were originally doing Museum Box but we didn't know what the Flint Hill account was. We are now doing a powerpoint about important people and events from the book.

Make belief comix is so annoying

I am so annoyed with make belief comix because there is so little choice for what I can use. If I want an angry guy they only have one or to and none of them fit the character I need. Also there is no way to work at the same time with my partner so we can only work on it with one computer. This slows it down a lot.
More things that make belief comix doesn't have is a save option. So if you want to keep working on something the next time you can't close the site. I had a problem with that because once my group lost everything we had done when the internet just randomly closed. Also, when you're trying to delete one thing, there is a start over button underneath it and I've pressed that once or twice and all my work just went away.
Lastly, you can only make up to a four panel comic on the site so each time I want to make more than that we have to take a screen shot and then put in a word document. Then we need to make sure nothing happens to that. Therefore, I think make belief comix is really unreliable and I probably wouldn't have use it if I new I would have to got through all this at the beginning.

Last class Tyson and Dillon were making their own comix. I finished mine but then I ripped it up because they wanted to make a 4 square one instead of a 3 square one. This annoyed me so I ripped it up and threw it away. I am going to start a new one this time 4 SQUARES and finish this project with them.
