Glogster Media Project

This project has been very difficult so far. The first day I could not even get on glogster and I accomplished nothing. We have now transitioned from glogster to a google doc because we could not accomplish much. So far everything has been going good.

Today,  my group members and I worked on our glogster project. Caroline wasn't here today but she usually works on the cover page, Maja worked on the back page, and Catherine and I work on the summary and the author's biography.  I think so far our project is going along nicely and we all work great together. So far, there hasn't been any troubles that has stopped us yet. I can't wait to see how our project comes out.

Today, Maja, Rachel and I faced a problem. Caroline, who has our main glog on her account, wasn't here so we could not access our front page glog that we had been working on. Luckily, we had other work to do. We worked on the summary and the author's biography. Also, we worked on the back page with the reviews, as that glog was being kept on Maja's account. So we were able to do productive work, even though we could not access our main glog.

Bad Boy Media Project Preview

Today is Friday the 30 and I am doing my Bad Boy media project. We had three choices which were glogster, museum box, and make belief comix. I chose glogster with three others and are summarizing the book with a front cover, and a back cover. So far we are producing good work together, and are getting closer, and closer to finishing the project.

Bad Boy Day 1

Today Aidan, Kate, and I filmed part of our project today. We switched interviewers and interviewees quite a bit. Yesterday we all had not completed the book but today we did so we could complete our video making. We made a couple videos. At first we had some difficulties,  but later it came along and we got work done. I think the video went well.

Bad boy blog #1 Faith

     Today I was working on Walter Dean Myers's biography. I got a lot done. We were working on glogster, and our poster is looking great. In the beginning of Bad Boy I did not enjoy it that much because his family was so confusing.  When I finished the book I was glad i read it because it had such a deep message. I'm in a group with Cami, and Rachel Pavel. I am doing the biography, Cami is working on the pictures, and Rachel is doing a written interview. Im so excited to get deeper into our poster. 

Bad Boy Day 1

Today, for our Bad Boy project we decided to film our video. In my group is Aidan, Tate, and I. At first it was kinda hard to film because not all of us have finished the book. Luckily, today we all have finished it. The interviewer was Tate, and Walter Dean Myers was Aidan. A points we switched interviewers because we had difficulties, but we resolved them. Though we switched it back at the end. Finishing with Tate as the interviewer and Walter Dean Myers as Aidan. Sometimes we kinda made each other laugh, or someone talked over our voices, leading us to restart. Though we got a lot done at the end of the day.

Today I Finalized our comic. Only 2 more to go! 

Bad Boy Blog #1

Today my group and I finalized our author summery. We learned that Walter Dean Myers is a 5-time Crotta Scott King award winner. This award is awarded to an outstanding African American author.  We also started designing the our version of the cover. We chose to put in a picture of Walter as and 11 year old. We now have a good idea of what we are going to do with the rest of our glogster.

Today in English Class our group added 3 reviews to our Bad Boy Project

Starting New Bad Boy Project

Today in English we started on a Bad Boy project where we could pick from three sites that we could do our presentation on. One of the three was Glogsters (which I chose), then there was Museum Box, and lastly was Make Beliefs Comix. My group with Cami and Faith is going very well. We started on who will do what and we got right into it. I think our Glogster poster will turn out really well. I think this because so far our work has been great!! What I think is cool is when I'm asking Cami and Faith the questions for the Reviews (because I'm writing the reviews) I can make up my own questions to go with it. I also like hearing both Cami and Faith's answers! I'm so excited to see the final thing!! :)
